promotions

We welcome your child for up to 8 hours, so you can take care of the tasks you need to.
Our licensed daycare follows an intentional play-based learning model, encouraging children to ask questions, solve problems and investigate their surroundings. As children play, they engage in their own unique learning styles where their creativity and curiosity can flourish.

Book your drop-in daycare space at Little Beans online. Our educators will welcome your child(ren) and they will remain in our separate childcare space with our dedicated educators. Our daycare facility is fully equipped, including quiet nap space, to care for your children for up to 8 hours.

Hello, my name is Kiran, and I am the founder of Little Beans Play Café. It has always been my dream to open a space where I could bring my children to play, while I relaxed and enjoyed a good cup of coffee and conversation with a friend. I am a licensed, early childhood educator and have managed a preschool, worked in daycare, and worked in before/after school care programs. I have always had great love and admiration for children and have two daughters of my own. I believe the first years of a child’s life are important – they build strong relationships, they learn to play and interact with the world around them, and their brains develop connections quickly. The early years pass by so fast, and it can be a challenge to “do it all” as a parent these days.

Being a mom with a modern-day schedule myself, I see a need for flexible childcare options in Port Moody. I invite you to take a moment of time for yourself, go for that run you’ve been missing, or get some uninterrupted work hours in while we care for your little ones.

Hello! My name is Michelle and I am a certified Education Assistant with 6 years of experience working at a highschool in North Vancouver. I also have experience working as a preschool and afterschool care teacher.

As a former Emily Carr art student, I love sharing my artist's abilities with the daycare - which means a lot of painting and sculpting!

In my free time I enjoy playing soccer, ice hockey, mountain biking, snowboarding, badminton and cross country running. You can say I am an extreme athlete!

I look forward to meeting you!

Hello! My name is Elaha, and working with children is one of the many things that uplifts me and brings me joy! Through a childcare setting, I am able to view the world through their lens and explore their curiosity with them. I am fascinated by the way children experience the world, and I strive to become someone that can help them learn more about themselves and their abilities. I believe each child can impact the world positively, which is why it is so crucial for them to be surrounded by individuals that want them to succeed and grow. Their abundant creativity and playfulness are something I see in myself and why I choose to care for children.

Anni Walz

Hello! My name is Anni. The Oxford Dictionary defines "nurture" as: "care, encouragement, and support given to someone or something while they are growing." As an educator, it is my mission to spread positivity and encouragement to help children blossom and grow into amazing human beings while being a part of nurturing the next generation for the better. I am a natural born empath and nurturer and have always known that childminding was meant to be my path. I find being an educator to be tremendously fulfilling and rewarding. My goal is to encourage children to embrace and expand their imagination and creativity in many different ways. I am a strong believer in learning through play and using that play to guide children through the early stages of their development. My cheerful spirit, enthusiasm, and energy allow me to connect and bond with children around me. I wish to play a positive role in childrens’ lives and to leave a lasting impact, like the teachers who were motivating role models in my own life. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me!

Hello! My name is Elaina. From a young age, I knew I had a passion for working with children. I always aim to create a community where children feel safe, secure, and welcomed. I believe it is essential to understand a child's early stages of development, especially when it comes to building relationships and growing connections. Creating an environment where children learn and grow aids them in their future interactions and experiences. As a childcare worker, allowing children to express themselves and interact with others is fundamental to my job. I thrive helping children to experience a positive, meaningful, and fulfilling learning experience. Each child that I teach is unique in many ways, and I truly enjoy getting to know each one, and the time they spend in our daycare setting!

Hello! My name is Genavieve and from a young age I’ve always had a strong desire to give guidance, teach and be a role model for children. I knew my passion for helping children would eventually become my career path. I am so grateful to work here and guide the children to be their very best selves. I believe that at a young age it is very important to have a trusted adult to genuinely encourage learning strategies, someone who understands that all children are diverse and need different approaches in learning and play aspects. I aim to leave a memorable and positive impact on the children who come into my path, and to educate, support, and motivate young ones with an empathetic approach to help shape a healthy learning base for future learning and experiences.

Katty Ayoubzadeh
R.A.

Hello! My name is Katty and I am so excited to be a part of the Little Beans Play Café daycare team! My interest in working with children started when I took part in a community service opportunity at a local daycare 4 years ago. I now lead a weekly children’s class at a facility in Port Coquitlam where I choose a topic with a correlating story, an art activity, and a group game. I love working with kids to support them as they overcome challenges and succeed. Witnessing a child accomplish their goals and grow in their endeavors is a very fulfilling experience, especially knowing that you had a part to play in their success. I believe every child deserves to feel loved, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential and I am excited to be a part of that journey.
